THE COLORADO LYMPHATIC RESEARCH CENTER

We opened our doors in 2007 to assist our community with issues relating to Lymphedema. When we were introduced to the LymphStar-Pro there was no definitive research on the effectiveness of the treatment of lymphedema using the machine. We have now conducted several studies using volunteers with lymphedema as well as other conditions. We are very excited with the results and will continue with volunteer and patients referred to us in the future. We now recommend the use of the LymphStar-Pro as part of a comprehensive treatment for lymphedema.

LYMPHATIC THERAPIST

Susan Johnson is a licensed nurse and has been in the healthcare field for more then 20 years
She is trained in all phases of lymphedema treatment and is a consultant in all lymphedema matters. She works closely with local hospitals concerning lymphedema treatments. Susan has worked with several major hospitals in Denver and Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She attended Regis University and UCCS. She has both an Alzheimer certification, and a geriatric certification from UCCS. She is a massage therapist specializes in lymphatic therapy treatments to address all phases of Lymphedema. Susan has trained with Klose and the Vodder Institute. She has lymphatic drainage training, and practices manual lymphatic drainage/ and compression decongestive therapy (MLD/CDT) 
Her specialties include, work with the LymphStar-Pro, lymphatic massage, compression bandaging, follow-up treatment and skin care education, assessment and prevention of complications do to lymphatic disorders.
Susan Johnson has a history in our community for high quality care. She understands the sensitive nature of lymphedema both physical and emotional.
